EPR

Extended Producer Responsibility, also known as EPR, is a legal obligation imposed on producers, importers, and brand owners. It requires them to take responsibility for collecting and recycling the plastic waste that is generated by their products, as per the Plastic Waste Management Rules of 2016. The purpose of this rule is to ensure that the producers and manufacturers are held accountable for the environmental impact of their products and to promote sustainable waste management practices.
